Solution of your Marketing Dilemma: In-House Marketing OR Outsource Marketing
Today, I have taken the topic of Marketing which is considered as a life line of a business. Your organization can not survive without marketing. I would not be wrong, if I will say, Marketing plays the most consequential part in an organization.
To explain the word “Marketing” I have chosen the definition given by Philip Kotler a famous American marketing author, consultant and professor. His marketing definition conveys the 3 points, these are:-
- Marketing is the process by which an organization relates creatively, productively, and profitably to the marketplace.
- It is the art of creating and satisfying customers at a profit.
- Marketing is getting the right goods and services to the right people at the right places at the right time at the right price with the right communications and promotion.
All in all, It is creatively communicating and promoting your products and services to the right customers, at the right time, with right price and in the right place, so that you could satisfy your customers at a profit.
You have two choices to start your job, either commence the work In-house or outsource it to the marketing agency. Every organization has to face this allocation decision. To be in a decision you should consider some points that would help you to take right judgement.
Now, that it has been proved that it is an important part of an organization, you have to be very careful to allocate this job to the right person. It is a creative and productive field; therefore you would need a professional and expert Team. If you are already having a team then it would be easy for you to render the work to them, but if not, then you will have to decide whether you will appoint a team or outsource it to a marketing agency. Appointing a team could take time and a good cost too. You should also consider the time of a project, whether it is short term project or it will continue for long.
If you want that your data or information should not be used by others and you want to keep it secure, then I would recommend you to prefer In-house Marketing. But in case, if your team is already occupied, then, there is only the option to outsource it to a secure agency which would take care of the confidentiality.
At the end, your decision is all depends upon the needs of these things: Skill, cost, time and confidentiality.
